About

After stints as a National Park Service ranger, Vail Ski Patroller, and curator for two nationally recognized collections, I realized that the perfect career for me blended my passion for art and the outdoors. I have degrees in Anthropology, Art History, Museum Science and an MLA (Master's of Landscape Architecture) which means Denver Square Design brings the world of landscape to your home. With influences ranging from Tiwanaku ruins to French Parterre, Olmsted to Eckbo, I help you visualize and create the perfect landscape for you.

I generally follow these steps in my work:

  1. Initial Interview and assessment
  2. Preliminary Sketches
  3. Final Design or
  4. Planting Plan
  5. Plant Procurement
  6. Installation Management

The initial interview is free, and if there is a basis for proceeding I will provide a quote and agreement.
